BIPV BIPV: Building Integrated Photovoltaic As the name implies, these are photovoltaic systems integrated into the architecture of buildings. The purpose is to generate electricity from solar modules without destroying the visual appeal of buildings. Also these smart designs make it possible to install solar modules without the need for additional mechanical accessories....etc. An example to BIPV are the semitransparent silicon thin films used as window glazing (window tinting).
